Service & MoT

We are authorized to perform routine and corrective maintenance for Piaggio, Gilera & Vespa, however we do service other makes so please get in touch.

What is a service?

A service will keep your bike operating correctly as intended by the manufacturer, both performance and reliability will be maintained and most importantly allows a trained technician the chance to give the bike a full inspection Checking for safety issues that you may not be aware of. Servicing is performed on a time usage policy (read your moped’s handbook for info)

A motorcycle warranty may become void should a bike not be serviced at the appropriate service intervals. Please feel free to contact us for advice on any subject concerning maintenance.

Here at The Scooter Shop we are authorised by the Secretary of State for Transport to carry MOT testing for your scooter and motorcycle. To arrange for an MOT please call us to place a booking for this service. The current price for a 2 wheeled MOT test is £28.65

Spare Parts & Repairs

We can supply genuine parts for every model in the Piaggio, Gilera and Vespa range, and can normally supply gunuine parts for other manufacturers such as Peugeot, Derbi, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki, as well as being able to supply a vast array of aftermarket parts.

We’re not limited to just scooters and mopeds either, we can supply and fit parts to bigger bikes, both commuters and superbikes.
